The Skills and Craft Workshop is a platform to imagine and create products that are organic or natural from locally sourced raw materials. The workshop aims to empower women in rural Namibia with skills in crafting eco-friendly body care products.

So far, we have collaborated with the Karibib town council and have successfully trained women including men in crafting natural bar soaps. The event was impactful, and only lasted two days in Karibib, where day 1 was about bar soaps crafting theory and group practicals and day 2 was about legal compliance, General Manufacturing Standards, product innovation and post mentorship opportunities in our startup club community. We then concluded the training session with the award of participation certificates.
